Why
Coconut meat is safe when fed in small, unsweetened, additive-free amounts and contains lauric acid and antioxidants. It is high in fat, so overweight dogs or those prone to fat-related issues should skip it, and too much can cause digestive upset. The shell and husk must never be fed, and anything with xylitol is toxic.
